Free room, at a glance
Raumzeichen is a display for meeting rooms that shows at a glance whether a room is free or occupied.
Everyone knows the situation. You are standing outside a meeting room and don't know whether someone who booked it is about to walk in. Raumzeichen solves this with a display right next to the door, green for free and red for occupied. The status is visible from several metres away, without anyone having to open a calendar.
The display is connected to the calendar. Existing meetings appear automatically, and anyone who needs a free room at short notice books it with a few taps right on the device. The booking goes straight into the calendar, so the device and the system always show the same status. If a meeting is cancelled, the display releases the room automatically.
We developed Raumzeichen from the ground up, including hardware selection and enclosure design, the software on the device, the calendar integration and the admin in the background. The result is a product anyone can use without training, and it removes exactly the kind of friction that costs time and nerves at work every day.
